Men's Cross Country | 8.31
With the release of the Preseason Division II Regional Rankings last week, the C.W. Post cross country team finds itself seventh in the East Region, as voted on by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Men's Soccer | 8.30
The C.W. Post men's soccer team was the top vote-getter in the East Coast Conference preseason poll after receiving six first-place votes, the conference announced on Monday.

Women's Soccer | 8.30
The East Coast Conference released its preseason poll for the 2009 season, ranking C.W. Post second in the conference. The Pioneers trail rival University of Bridgeport by just four points, and picked up two first place votes.  In addition, senior defender Anna Svensson (Stockholm, Sweden) was voted as the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

Men's Cross Country | 8.30
With the 2010 preseason polls now released, the C.W. Post Cross Country team looks to have a big year, as the men finished first at top of the polls, and the women finished third. C.W. Post runner Christian Altamura (Seaford, N.Y.) also earned the honor of being named ECC Runner of the Year on the male side.

Women's Volleyball | 8.30
The C.W. Post Volleyball team was selected to finish third in the East Coast Conference preseason coaches' poll, which was released Monday morning. C.W. Post finished third in the poll with 32 voting points, including one first place vote.

C.W. Post is beginning its third season in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

"Our expectations are high," coach Bryan Collins said. "Nothing less than winning the PSAC East, playing in the PSAC title game and getting back into the NCAA playoffs."

C.W. Post head softball coach Jamie Apicella continues to add to his already talented coaching staff with the addition of pitching specialist Julie Soviero. Soviero has mentored numerous Long Island college-bound pitchers and will work with the Pioneer pitching staff.

The C.W. Post football team held its Tuesday evening practice at John Burns Park to promote “Family Football Night” hosted by the town of Oyster Bay. The Pioneers ran through multiple drills and finished the night with a scrimmage between offense and defense. Video of the practice can be seen on the C.W.
